1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the TRIAD School Shield platform (including this website and the TRIAD School Shield mobile application), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Scope of Service & Advisory Disclaimer
TRIAD School Shield provides security assessment tools based on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) frameworks. The safety evaluations, checklists, recommendations, and PDF summaries generated by this platform are advisory in nature.
While our tools aim to identify potential campus safety gaps, security audits cannot guarantee complete protection against all security incidents, emergency situations, or criminal acts. Ultimate responsibility for campus safety measures, implementation, and emergency preparedness remains with the respective school district or facility administrators.
3. User Accounts & Authorization
Access to district dashboards, member registries, and assessment records requires authorized credentials. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and restricting access to authorized personnel. District Administrators are responsible for managing roles and approvals for their tenant users.
4. Data Ownership & Storage
All assessment data, photos, principal supervisor feedback, and comments uploaded to the cloud database are securely stored. School districts retain ownership of their individual campus security records. We employ encryption and row-level security (RLS) policies to isolate data between different tenants and school districts.
5. Term & Billing
District subscriptions (Stripe-managed or Purchase Order-managed) remain active until canceled. Manual cancellations must be requested through your subscription dashboard or billing portal. Inactive or expired accounts will be locked and revert to limited read-only/free preview modes.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. By using this platform, you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms of Use.
